Sharing the love of creating ...with some handmade cards

Hello everyone & welcome.

I hope you are all coping with self isolating.
Here in Australia we are going through the different stages of self isolating.
For me I love to garden and to create. So I will be getting some vitamin D & some exercise outside in the garden and I will give my brain a workout creating & to help it find a sense of peace & calm.
What ever you do stay safe & well.

I have created 3 cards with Meg's Gardens latest patterned paper collection called A Lady's Diary.

To create my first card I have used the following items pictured.

Next you will need to create a card base from card stock that measures 5 1/2" x 11".
Then score as follows: 2 1/4", 3 5/8", 7 3/8", 8 3/4".
Fold as follows: V, M, M, V, then burnish each fold.

Your card base should look like this.

Add your layers and then decorate.

My 2nd card.

To create this card I have used the following items.

The card base measures 5 1/2" x 11". Then score at 2 3/4", 8 1/4" fold and burnish each fold.

Add layers of patterned papers & embellishments.

Card No.3

My card stock measures 5 1/2" x 11".
Fold in half to create the card base.
Add patterned papers & embellishments.

Stop by Meg's Garden online store for lots of patterned papers & embellishments to create your very own paper craft projects.

Plus here is a picture of some of the flowers in my garden.

Until next time.
Thank you so much for stopping by.
I hope you have a wonderful day & happy creating.

A ladies Diary is perfect for Social distancing with our crazy world just now.Megs Garden new range of papers are perfect to keep your hands busy creating

Firstly I made a matchbox Album from a packet from a box of BBQ matches
my ladies still have to make a List of things' To Do' so I have left that blank
This is a double sides album
I embossed some card with a lace embossing folder and added the name
Merveillleuse Paris which roughly translates to Marvellous Woman
My Blue ladies are all ready to go and explore
I embossed a sheet of vellum with the lace folder and its shows blue over the base

This Lady has found her partner and been out romancing at the ball

I have used cut and create papers but others from this special range
added some flowers plus ribbons and lace from Megs Garden
I hope you have enjoyed your waltz through the Parisian Ladies Adventures
                                 stay safe and cheers Trish
