Hi
These 2 projects were designed by Charlotte to show how 1 design can be changed.
The 1st little book used Graphic 45 papers, lace, ribbons & femininity; shades of apricots, laces & pearls & little velvet flowers.
|
closed cover of book - the apricot ribbon is between page 4 & the back cover
& ties in a bow on the front - could also be tied to the side |
|
the lace goes behind the green paper on the front cover & ties in a know on the front |
|
inside showing the tags, the tiny booklet on page 2 & the stampings |

These little booklets are perfect places to use those little scraps of paper that are too good to throw away - they are perfect embellishments - tear them & distress the edges.
The 2nd little book uses rub ons & variety in ribbons - it is less feminine feel than the first book & could very easily become a masculine book with a slight variation in embellishing.
|
Closed book - the ribbons go between page 4 & back cover
& the to front to tie in a bow at the side |

Neither of these books have journaling or photos but are shown so that you can see how 1 design can be changed dramatically to suit the purpose of the project - the booklets can be a fabulous alternative to a card:
a thank you for a special dinner with photos inside
a new baby
mothers day luncheon or a fathers day BBQ
christening or graduation
and many more ideas ....
Hope you enjoyed these postings on books & booklets
I love doing them
Bye for now
Meg

Love both books and how each is completed... the tags are a gorgeous idea. The colour combinations on both are so delicious!
