Sherlock III+Shades of Green
Hello Meg's fan! Marina is here today with lovely mix of 2 our latest collections.
When I saw Sherclock III preview I decided to mix it with Shades of Green collection to create femine cards, so let's have a look what I create ))))
details:
Here for background I used Sherlock III and some elements from ephemera sheet. To create more colorful composition I used fussy-cutted flowers and clock from Shades of Green collection.
the second card
a few close-ups:
Here I used more Sherlock papers for layers and details and used Shades of Green only for stamped and fussy-cutted leaves and several elements from ephemera sheet.
Hope you enjoy my little experiment with these collections ))))
Have a wonderful day,
Marina.

Megs Garden Sherlock 111 Design team Post,Hello bloggers how lucky we are to have such gorgeous papers and embellisents to play with.
I have to confess I am very challenged when it comes to male cards
these papers were so easy to create with,,lots of vintage trinkets
and a 6x6 cardpack I think I succeded.
I added Cosmic Shimmer Rust effects paints to the trinkets
I really like how it added to the effects especially the box of matches
Sorry about my crooked greeting and cheesy title
on my second card
On my 3rd card I again used the rust effects paint on the vintage trinkets
I think card could be a bon voyage card
I tried to cut the feather quill for an effective pen
and added the pen nib to the paper
Thanks for dropping by Megs Garden and don't forget to

Shades of Green cards by Marina Gridasova
Hello Meg's Garden fans!
Marina is here today and I want to share with you my new cards with Shades of Green collection. I adore this soft and fresh collecton with lots of different elements on the ephemera sheets. You could fussy-cut all of them and get a lot of beautiful embellishments and layers for your projects!
So here is the first one card
some close-ups:
the second one:
details:
I want to create romantic works with floral accents, so used fussy-cutted elements. Also I want to use the butterflies, but because they were big for my cards, I used them as one more layer for the title. I love to create layered works, so always added a lot of them - and also because you find a lot of pretty details on ephemera sheets )))))
Hope you were enjoyed and inspired by my works and this collection and will create your own The Shades of Green projects!
Have a great day,
Marina.

Less is More Butterfly Cards - Barbara Lindsey DT Member
“Less is More” Butterfly cards
Sometimes I forget to use the gorgeous designer papers that I have. I get caught up in the stamping and matching dies, and it is only when I am finished that I realise my huge stash of gorgeous paper is still intact. This weekend I set about changing that, so I set a personal challenge to make some cards using pretty papers and very little else. For my focal images I selected some of the new Card Papers from Meg’s Garden which depict butterflies. I chose matching cardstock to offset the designs and to add some interest.
To enhance my cards I used Stitched square and rectangular Dies. All of my cards are similar in design, but each is also unique in its own way.
Card No.1 – Shown next to original 6″ x 6″ paper. I didn’t want to waste anything, so I also cut the lower butterfly to use inside my card.

Card No. 2 – Shown with original paper. I added a 1/4″scored border around the outside of the layered pieces. The feather was fussy cut from the same piece of paper.

Card No. 3 – I added more scored lines around the outside of the card.

All three cards together:

The hardest part of making these cards was deciding on the shape and orientation in order make the most of the papers. Butterflies are favourites for card makers and I think you will agree these are lovely with their soft pastel shades.
I hope you enjoyed this idea of ‘less is more.’
Items used:
- “In the Watercolour Garden” S137 and S137-2 Paper packs
- Stitched Dies
- Cardstock: White, grey, taupe and tangerine
Happy Monday and Happy Crafting Everyone.
