Dear, sweet, wonderful you!

Dear, sweet, wonderful you.
Let me show you something I've made this weekend with Meg's goodies....
Using one of the 12x12 doilies I created an envelope, I adhered one of the beautiful 5.5" Card Artists' Packs/Mini Papers from the Shades of Green Collection
With the floral background and ribbon on the background paper,

I have added some extra flowers with ephemera from the cut and create sheets. I have raised some of the flowers for the 'off the page effect'.

I have added a satin ribbon in emerald from a bundle of Meg's goodies.

With one of Meg's latest products I have added a touch of sparkle.  Meg's Garden website now has rhinestones and enamel dots.

I have used a stamp from my collection as the sentiment

I have used an emerald rhinestone on the top flap of the envelope to seal the doily around this creation.  In reality, it is a touch of doubled sided tape that is sealing the doily.

Look at the detail in this Basket Lace Square doily.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing something different here today.

Hop over to Meg's Garden website to see these beautiful products.

Take Care

LAVANDE 'SHAMPOO' BOX OF CARDS

Hello Bloggers,

Thanks for joining me today.  I wanted to share with you this lovely collection.

My sister had recently bought me some special hair shampoo and conditioner.  It came in this box and true to form with me, I never throw anything away that can be recycled in some shape or form.

Firstly, I set about decorating the box with some of Meg's Garden gorgeous collection 'Lavande'
and here is the result.

I have teamed it all with Megs ribbon, floral trim,  net, flowers and metal embellishment.
I then set about making a few cards to place in the box and eventually will give it away as a present.

Meg's Garden metal embellishments are so so versatile and easy to separate when needed.   For my 'love' and 'cherish'  card I split a metal flower to create an edge to my flower.  You can see it a bit better in the next shot.

I have also used my new die to do a beautiful flower from this 'Lavande' Collection.

Well thanks for joining me today on our little journey and I hope that you agree with me, that this will make a gorgeous present for someone and next time you are given a box, hang onto it and think how it can be reused with some of Meg's Garden Collection .
Until next time, happy creating.....regards Liz

BIRTHDAY CARD IN WATERCOLOUR IN BLUE

Hello fellow scrappers , Mary here
What do you do when you have a niece having a birthday that loves chocolate?  Send her a box of Roses chocolates along with a Birthday Card made from the Watercolour in Blue Range and decorate it with the "All you need is Chocolate and Love" image from the Cut and Create Sheet ...... Perfect

I have also used the Vintage Lady from the Rose Quartz Cut and Create Collection. These collections work well together.
I actually have three layers of the Watercolour in Blue  Pattern paper 4 x 12" strip that comes with your 12 x 12" sheet as my base , then I have cut a corner of the the large doily to use as a soft , delicate base for the Cut and Create Images. I added lace on the top and bottom of the card. Another row of lace across the top of the lace doily and then I added the gorgeous organza satin rose with pearls and the beautiful soft blue flower  from Megs Garden shop and the soft blue organza ribbon to finish off ( so soft and dreamy)
Everything I have used besides the heart pin and thread can be found at Megs Garden Shop. The Gorgeous products make it so easy to create  a special card for a special someone.
I hope I have inspired you to make your own cards.
Happy Creating
Mary x
