Christmas Envelope album by Meredith Hilly

Hello everyone. And welcome to my post. Christmas is not far away now and I made this envelope album to put all my little goodies I get at Christmas time.

I made a template from black cardstock to form the envelope. Then I folded and glued the flaps together. Making sure the front template had a longer flap to go over all pages.
Each page opens one  end so my gift cards , photos and other nick knacks can be slide in.

Some pages I placed a magnetic spot and others a little latch to keep the flaps closed.

Glitter is so Christmas for me. The more the better. Using different colour glitter was a good way to highlight parts of the pictures.

Lace dollies and glimmer mist added a good depth of colour.

I hope you enjoyed looking at my project as much as I did making it.

Victorian Pillow Box Shaker Ornaments and a Tutorial!

Hi Meg's Garden friends! Sarah here to share a set of four Pillow Box Shaker Ornaments I created using the absolutely divine Meg's Garden Vintage Christmas Papercrafter Pack! I've put together a video slideshow tutorial showing how to create one of these easy but beautiful ornaments - I hope you'll give it a try.

Here are a couple of photos from different angles of the set of ornaments - aren't the papers just gorgeous?! And I love those vintage Santa images. I embellished with some flowers and winter berries from my stash and added some heavy gesso and fairy dust as 'snow' to the embellishments and "Noel" cut-out!

And here is the full step-by-step slideshow tutorial!

Old World Santa Card

Hello friends, it's Patti here with an Old World Santa Christmas Card featuring the Vintage Christmas Papercrafter Pack from Meg's Garden.  This is a 5" x7" card with a Kraft cardstock base.

I used the same Kraft cardstock to create my envelope, this is a box envelope allowing space for the embellishments to slide inside without being crushed.  I added a fussy cut Santa to the front and a cut out to the back flap.Using the same Tim Holtz Distress ink in Gathered Twigs I had applied to the card around the edges to soften them a little.

I used some of the Velvet Flowers and leaves along with a piece of Jute ribbon to adorn the top right of the card.  By pinching and gluing the ribbon in spots you get this nice flowing look.

Here I tucked a swing out Santa, which has been fussy cut from the Papercrafter pack and placed a magnet behind him so he swings out to reveal a special tag and message and pops closed to keep it safely tucked inside.

To give my card that very special winter element I've used Deco Art's Snow-Tex around elements on the front, inside and back of the card.  When it dries it looks just like snow has fallen here and there.

Inside I placed fussy cut pieces from the decorative papers along with a mat cut from Spellbinders Nestabilities Divine Eloquence dies.  Using a combination of Tim Holtz Distress inks in Vintage Photo, Old Paper and Antique Linen to give the mat the same old world feel as the paper.

Thanks for joining me today, be sure and check out these gorgeous papers and embellishments from Meg's store.  If time is short you can always purchase the digital edition of the papers and download instantly to print at home.

Vintage Christmas Shaker Tags by Dana Tatar

Hi friends! Dana Tatar here today sharing a pair of shaker tags that I created with some festive Meg's Garden products. My inspiration for this project came from Andrea Ockey Parr.

I printed and cut several tags from the Vintage Christmas Papercrafter Pack ephemera page and layered them with paper tags that I cut from a piece of English Rose Garden Leaves and Foliage patterned paper. I sprinkled glitter onto a chipboard transparency embellishment and glued a piece of clear packaging over the top to seal the glitter inside. I then punched a hole in the shaker embellishment and the tags and tied them together with a piece of white twine.

I further embellished each layered tag set with buttons, charms, chipboard, pins, Cream Lace, and some ivory blossoms from the Temptations in Cream and Sage Bundle.

I'm thinking of wrapping all my gifts this year in brown paper and string. These handmade tags will make beautiful gift toppers and will add a fantastic pop of color to my packages.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I wish you and yours all the best this holiday season!

Seaon's Greetings Layout - Vintage Christmas Papercrafter Pack

Hi friends! Dana Tatar here today sharing a Christmas layout that I created using a photo of my daughters from last December and some fantastic Meg's Garden products. The A Flower Garden For Butterflies patterned paper was a fantastic neutral base for my page and the Vintage Christmas Papercrafter Pack was full of festive papers that helped bring the joy of the season to my design.

I selected a holly wreath patterned paper from the Vintage Christmas Pack to dress up the center of a Square Paper Lace Doily for the focal point of my page. I created a festive embellishment cluster with flowers, leaves and lace from the Temptations in Cream and Sage Bundle.

The lower left-hand corner of A Flower Garden For Butterflies patterned paper has a wonderful cluster of leaves. I used this corner as the base for my holiday embellishment cluster. The White Meringue Viola Posies were perfect for this holiday page with their velvet petals their colorful red and green flower centers.

I finished the page with a bow made from white seam binding and another White Meringue Viola Posy.

I hope you'll check out Meg's Papercrafter Packs. They have been designed for the papercrafter who loves the cardmaker packs but wants something extra and for the mini papercrafter who loves scrapbooking, cardmaking, and the inbetween. Meg has taken the concept of the mini paper pack into a new direction and converted it to a new printable version that is ready to download. Each printable product includes 6 8.5x11 inch papers. Three of the sheets have 2 designs with mini ephemera and strips down the side. The other 3 pages are full of ephemera. This is a fantastic option for international designers like myself who want to design with papers on their own schedule. I love that I can avoid a shipping charge and I don't have to wait for the mail!

Vintage Christmas Ornaments

Hi friends! Dana Tatar here today sharing some Christmas ornaments that I created with Tim Holtz Facets and the new Downloadable Vintage Christmas Papercrafter Pack. I fashioned these ornaments after the vintage chandelier pendant ornaments designed by Melinda Barnett, which were published in the Stampington & Company Somerset Holidays and Celebrations 2015 Vol. 9.

I simply printed these gorgeous papers at home, applied a small amount of glaze over select images, and pressed a facet firmly down onto the glaze. I let the facets dry overnight and then trimmed away the excess paper. I finished these ornaments with a length of festive ribbon.
