IN THE WATERCOLOUR GARDEN - JUST LIKE THE BUTTERFLY LAYOUT

Hello Bloggers,

Here again today to share with you my layout that I have created using Meg's Garden new Collection
'In the Watercolour Garden'.

This beautiful collection is so eclectic in its design and I hope that you have had a chance to check it all out HERE.

I have  based it on one of Meg's Gardens doileys.  I also made a frame and covered with this paper and have used some gloss accents.

Then I have used some lovely ribbon and metal embellishments .

I hope you have enjoyed our little journey through this 'In the Watercolour Garden' and will visit Meg's site to see more of this gorgeous collection.

Until next time.....happy creating....... Liz

Hello Bloggers,

Welcome again and thanks for joining us on Meg's Garden new collection 'In the watercolour Garden'.

Meg has outdone herself once again with this beautiful collection, which you can view in full HERE.

Today I have made a 70th Album for a dear friend, who has this special birthday coming up in a couple of months time.

These papers are so soft and team well with all of Meg's ribbons, pearls and embellishments. Following you can see more pages of this Signature Album.

I then used some of the Spring Pastels Collection to make up some Signature Cards.

PARISIAN GARDEN COLLECTION - GIFT TIN WITH COLLECTION OF GIFT CARDS

Welcome Bloggers,

Today I would love to share my latest creations.  I had been looking at a little white tin that my girlfriend had given me some time ago and wondering what I could use it for.  Meg's Garden new collection 'Parisian Garden' seemed perfect for what I had in mind.

I set about covering the tin

With the tin completed, I then made up some gift cards.  Gosh I love this collection.  Truly amazing  and versatile for sure.

This is the back of one of the gift cards.

I trust that you have enjoyed our little journey through Meg's gorgeous collection and that you have fun creating with this new 'Parisian Gardens' collection.  Until next time....happy scrapping....Liz

Birthday Book by Meredith Hilly

Hello everyone. This post is all about birthdays. And what better way to celebrate birthdays by making a birthday book. I made this book so it can open and sit on a surface showing the current month.

I decorated the flowers with pearl magic and used a dark chocolate cardstock for the leaves. Don't be frighten to use other colours then green for foliage.

The book sits open to support itself so you can read what birthday is on that month.

Pages can be given depth with texture. I just love the tiny jar of crystals in shades of gold and browns that Megs garden has. Run some glue along the page and sprinkle on the tube like crystals. I have used it along the neck line of the girl in the photo.

Each page has a tag with the month stamped on it. They are pulled out from behind the monthly calendar for you to write a birthday date on it. The idea of this is on the following year when the dates are different these tags can be slid into a newly made birthday book.

Thank you for looking at my project. I have really enjoyed using Megs Garden papers. They are so pretty and the quality of the paper is second to none.
