Life is Better with Friends ~ Shades of Green

Hello dear Friends ,Mary here to share another layout using the Shades of Green Range.
I used two of the A4 pages in the range and adhered to a piece of white card stock to create my 12 x 12 page.

I received the gorgeous Branch with Flowers Die and used it straight away , I know I am going to use this die a lot !

I've also used the Lattice and Circle die behind my photo, placed some pastel enamel dots to my page and fussy cut the flowers and vintage lady from the cut and create sheet .

I also would like to share a card I made using the Shabby Chic Backgrounds card pack papers . I made this as a Sympathy Card so decided I wanted to create a bouquet of flowers to send. 

I fussy cut various flower images from the cut and create sheet , bundled them together and raised them on foam dots for dimension and tied them with a satin edged organza ribbon. I placed the bouquet on top of a doily.

Molto Bello ~ Sherock 111 a new case

Hello Mary here to share a travel layout created with the new range Sherlock 111 A New Case

The Italians really know how to create beautiful balconies. This is a balcony in the Piazza Navona in Rome.

I thought this particular paper from the new Sherlock 111 a New Case suited a travel page as it has the lovely  Post Card image on it. I added some clock washi tape and clock stamp and also used a blossom stencil with texture paste . I used the Lattice and circles die cut under my photo and then I used the branch with flowers die to contine the flowers from the balcony trailing down my page, into this I added a couple of DoDo Vine pieces. 

The clock image I fussy cut from the cut and create sheet and secured with a Filigree. The postal images are also fussy cut from the cut and create sheet and I have added some Mesh ribbon to my layout 

Finally I wanted to share a card I made for my Friends who sadly had to say goodbye to their fur baby 

The image of the dog is from Pinterest and then I have used The Shabby Chic card Artist background papers for my base.

Fussy cut the large cogg from the New Sherlock 111 A new Case cut and create sheet and placed the metal cogg in the centre.  The cherish word from the cut and create sheet  I inked and then added twine and mesh ribbon to the card , all from Megs Store

Inside my card I have layered images from the cut and create sheets . With the envelope piece I used a craft knife to cut a opening to tuck the sentiment in.

Vintage Spirit ~ Sherlock 111 A New Case Range

Vintage Spirit

This photo was in my Mum's photo album and I need to find out her story. I scanned the writing on the back to add to my layout and for the clue whom this lady is ~ her name being Lottie. My Grandmother on my Fathers side had a twin sister Lottie , but I am pretty sure this is not her, but rather a relative on my Mothers side as "The Glen" was my Grandparents  home on my Mothers side. Anyway I will ask my Cousin when I next see her as she is probably the only one alive now that might know.

I was thrilled to receive the fringe tassel in my pack, how gorgeous is it ! I added the pearl trim and sheer ribbon to it and also placed the green with gold ribbon under the inscription from the back of the photo along with the ink nibs.
I am loving the branch with flowers die , as it is so versatile and I placed it along side my photo . I layered a couple of images from the cut and create sheet and also used the large round fligree and added the lion door knock charm to it.
The 12 x 12 pages comes with a 4x12 strip and I have used this to tear and place under my photo, which I then swiped over with Gesso to add definition to the edges . Also to my page I added some stamping and washi tape.
