All You Need is Love

Hello Mary here to share a layout with the A4 Spring Pastel PP

I have placed the A4 PP to a white piece of cardstock and added the flower pattern through a stencil with texture paste down each side.

I have placed my photo on the envelope image from a cut and create sheet and placed this on a embossed piece of cardstock and tucked the all you need is love sentiment behind the photo from a cut and create sheet.
The Mesh ribbon adds some more texture and then I've added a double bow of Mauve and silver , attached the little gold Key charm & the flower trailing down which I have fussy cut from the cut and create sheet.

Another layout for the album. Megs Store has beautiful Papers and embellishements to document all those special occasions.
Thank you for calling by and Happy Creating

'A TWINKLING CHRISTMAS' - A CARD WITHIN A CARD , BIRTHAY CARD and XMAS GIFT BOX

Good morning everyone,

Liz here with you, once again showcasing Megs beautiful range of  'A Twinkling Christmas' and how versatile it is with other Collections.

A CARD WITHIN A CARD

Now for a closer look.  I love making with card, as it is a little surprise packet, especially using  this new Collection 'A Twinkling Christmas'.

This beautiful collection has such stunning images and suit this type of card quite well.  Meg's Christmas bell is unique and so delicate. Along with the ribbons and trim.  The little star I had in my stash which I heat embossed with some gold and glitter and perfect for keeping the card closed.

Now open, the card has a little surprise.

A bit of fussy cutting of the little cherub, stocking , bauble and ribbons to make it bounce of the card.

                                                             BUTTERFLY KISSES

I created this Birthday card for our little granddaughter and used 'Spring Pastels', along with A Twinkling Christmas Ballerina.

                                                         CHRISTMAS BASKET

This little basket would be lovely as a 'Teacher' gift or for that special person, filled with some goodies for Christmas.

For the inside of the box, I used 'White Flowers on Green' , and 'Parisian Gardens' Collections.  Here is a close up look of the outside panels which were completed using 'A Twinkling Christmas' Collection.

Well I trust that you have enjoyed our little journey today and that you agree with me, that this range of 'A Twinkling Christmas' is simply stunning and versatile with your other Meg's Garden Collections.

Thanks for taking the time to look and be sure to check out more of this Collection HERE.  Until next time.......happy creating......Liz.

Converting A4 Papers to a 12 x 12 Layout

I have always been a 12" x 12" scraper. The thought of scrapping an A4 layout terrifies me (yes, I have tried to, and the results were disastrous!). So, being a scrapper who cannot bear to waste paper, I had to find a solution for all the A4 paper that came my way as a DT member. What's a girl to do? Why, tear the paper into pieces, then add it to a 12" x 12" piece of cardstock. Problem solved!!!

To help the page look cohesive, I added a glittered texture paste image (with a stencil) to the background, and layered paper and coloured lace over the top. The lace has been coloured with Shimmerz Inks, but you can use any brand of spray ink to colour lace.

I have done a lot of fussy cutting from the Ephemera papers to create visual interest on my layout. I am totally in love with these little birds. The chipboard frame has been embossed with an embossing enamel, to create a thick lustrous finish, and then I have added flowers to complete the layout.

A little more fussy cutting of feathers and blossoms to create this accent down the right side of the photo. I have added Kindy Glitz to the feather to add glittered highlights.

I have an addiction to tassels. Is there anybody who doesn't? And Meg's tassels are just too gorgeous - I would use them on everything if I could. Did I mention they come in lots of different colours?

Flowers, flowers and more flowers. Why stick to one type of flower when you can use a mixture - paper, velvet and fabric flowers have all come into play on this layout. And if the colkour doesn't match - change it! That's what mists and paints are for!!!

What's the best way to fill a large empty space? With journaling, of course! I feel like a layout isn't complete unless it has some journalling - after all, aren't we supposed to be recording the stories and moments, not just the images?

Thank-you for stopping by and joining me.

this lovely box of prettily decorated soaps would delight when given as a gift.
This double box has a lift up lid, is trimmed with lace around the sides.
pieces of Ephemera from the range complete the box top ..
SINGLES

these two boxes were inspired by a large matchbox
adding a metal handle to pull the drawer out
the soaps are nestled onto tulle or muslin
