Journal Tags

Journal Tags

Each of these Journal Tags are just a little smaller than an ATC (2.5x3.5") & have a 3mm border.

They are perfect for:
  • creating an ATC
  • adding to a scrapbook page
  • using on the inside of a card
  • using on the front of a card
  • an embellishing element on a tag
what else can they be used for??
Send me a comment with your email address & I will send you the A4 size .jpg file by return email
Bye for now
Meg

PS Will do some projects to post using the Journal tags

Let's Play with Tags

Hi
I thought that I would reverse the embellished doily & make it the embellishment on a tag. I could not decide what colours or pics so I did 2 tags with the same design but different colours.

The first tag was done on a manila tag using Frayed Burlap distress ink with a coordinating colour scheme in ribbons & flower; the open paper flower was Off White & distressed on the edges with the Frayed Burlap. You could also use coffee or tea to dye the rose a deeper colour & then distress the edges to highlight.
Tag #1
The second tag was done with Tattered Rose distress ink with pink ribbons & a pink velvet flower.

Both tags are using an ATC size image from Vintage French Couples #ATC035, small paper doily, words from Vintage Lady Words (new paper), pearls by the metre, flower from Viola posy - soft peach, flower from Open Paper rose - off white, and off white Lace 3.5cm wide. Both tags are using a Pin of Jewel. All of the embellishments, except paper, can be found at the Embellish It! category at http://megsgarden.com

Hope this inspires you - more projects to come
