Palette #95 Pale Pink w Flowers

Hello
Palette 95 at The Color Room is an elegant pale pink
These are Sandie's projects - beautiful - love the use of the embellishments.

Very pretty card Sandie

Adriana's layout titled Venus - gorgeous work Adriana - the embellishments are beautiful; love the use of the distressed green & the flowers. The navy ribbon is a great highlight.

There are more to come but by the time you read this I will be at the Craft & Hobby Show in Anaheim, CA where I am looking for some fabulous ideas, new trends, colour combinations (although I think my Design Team has found them all) & products.

Will post when I return
Thanks to The Color Room for having us this month - has been great fun & we look forward to coming back. Thanks Eila & Lydell.

My Design Team has their next challenge - 'Parisian, Victorian, Vintage' - they need to use one of these in their title - should be some really gorgeous projects - I have seen what they have chosen from the website.

This ia a fabulous layout using Green Toile by Adriana

Sandie's layout is also very beautiful - she has done a fabulous cut out of the paper. The colours of the  paper & the flowere are a beautiful accent for the baby photo.

The following pics of projects using Green Toile have been done by the Design Team members at the Color Room - all are totally fabulous

How amazing - the totally different use of 1 paper!

'Constance' by Eila Sandberg

This is the project submitted by Eila Sandberg to The Color Room for palette #92 using 'Articles de Paris' paper from Le Belle Jardin Collection.

I really loved the style of the LO, the embellishments & how she used the paper to its max.  I went to Eila's blog to see more http//www.dollopsofscrap.blog.com.  The detail of the LO was so gorgeous & exciting that I just had to share it with you.  The top pic is her original LO for The Color Room.

The girl in the photo is not unknown, her name was Constance and she lived in Paris with her family during the Belle Epoque. In this pic from 1902 she is about 8 years old.

The following pics are the close ups done by Eila.

You can have a look at her blog for her descriptions.

While I was on her blog, I saw  2 other projects that I wanted to show you - the first one Eila says 'was done out of scraps' - some of the new collection & some of the French Garden Collection

The 2nd project I wanted to show you because of the unique use of  the doily & also how German scrap & a Paper lace strip can be coloured to advantage.

Lots more to see & do in the hunt for 'create, inspire & challenge'
