DELIGHT IN THE MEMORIES ~ PARISIAN GARDENS COLLECTION

Hello Mary here to share another layout using the Gorgeous Parasian Gardens Collection. I LOVE this collection and I am enjoying creating with it.

The images from the cut and create sheets are perfect to create tags, cards etc. At the moment I am really loving them to make tags on ripped up pieces of cardboard. I love the irregular edges and texture it gives and then I can add them to layouts or cards as I go and so many beautiful images to chose from to go on the tag.

I have used the lovely long oval fligree in the top right hand corner of my photo and just added a little pearl. The "inspire" word ,  tab image on the side of  my photo and beautiful , vintage lady image are all from the Cut and Create Sheet. I added a little rose and the soft , ribbon, all from Megs Store  ~and the layout was done. I am finding the papers are so beautiful that less is more on the layout.
Thank You for calling by I hope you Love the Parisian Gardens range as much as I do.
Happy Creating

Happy women's day gift cards (part 1)

Hello, everyone!

Veronika here to share my works with Parisian Gardens collection

I created some gift cards for a Happy women's day.
The papers are so stunning and tender, so I added only a little decor - flowers, ribbons, leaves and perls.

Please check this amazing Parisian Gardens collection

Gift box by Meredith Hilly

Hello everyone. My project is a gift box. I enjoyed using megs papers with lime and blue  cardstock . These colours complimented the papers beautifully.

I used a feather from one of my Guinea Fowls. The black and white was perfect. I glued the quill on the paper with the feather next to the writing on it.

The vintage beauties strips from megs garden are perfect  addition for a touch of class. I framed them on black cardstock to match the tartan ribbon.

When you lift the lid of the box , it opens with four small trays  ready for you to put things in. Small presents , chocolates etc.

Thanks for having a look at my gift box. And I hope you find some ideas to help you create.

SHE LEFT A TRAIL OF GLITTER ~ SPRING PASTELS COLLECTION

Hello Mary here today , creating with the gorgeous Spring Pastels Collection

I chose to keep the layout quite simple, as the papers are just so darn nice, I don't think it needs a lot of embellishment

The butterfly in the top corner I have fussy cut from the cut and create sheet , along with the "Love" sentiment. The butterfly in the bottom corner I used a Craft knife to cut around the image on the PP enough for the corner of the photo to slot in
I used the Pearl trim and twined it amongst the chipboard piece from A2Z Scraplets. With the little flower edged organza ribbon, that is ever so delicate , I cut the flowers individually and placed here and there  on my page.
Thank You for calling by, don't forget to visit Megs Store for some beautiful papers and embellishments.
Happy Creating

Parisian Gardens Altered Box

Parisian Gardens – Altered Box with Ornament

I want to share with you a small altered box that I made over the Christmas break using Meg’s Garden latest paper collection called Parisian Gardens.
I like to ‘repurpose’ items as often as I can, and this little box was much too gorgeous to throw away after the fragrant candle it had contained was long melted and enjoyed.
Because the box was in very good condition, I didn’t have to do anything much to it. It was a neutral craft colour and very sturdy and well made. I covered the top of the lid with a circle punched from one of the papers to hide some wording that was stamped there and using the same paper for all parts I covered the box.
I fashioned the top handle from one of Meg’s metal filigree embellishments, the birdsnest and eggs are from my own collection/stash. You may be able to make out the cutest little bird just arriving to keep the eggs warm, to the right of the nest. I didn’t think to get a closer photo.
parisien-9-jan-17
I wasn’t sure whether to have this as the back or the front of the box.  As I have left most of the main box free of embellishment, I suppose, it can be either.  I have added another few metal filligrees ( all are attached with Glossy Accents). These are easy to curve to the shape that you want. You can also cut them if you desire (but don’t use your favourite fussy cutting scissors for this.
parisien-8
I initially had a pretty green bead in the shape of a heart dangling from the lid of the box. I removed it because it interferred with the handle on the top of the bauble.
parisien-5
Shows bauble (on it’s side and interior of box). I finished all exposed edges of the original box with a gold Sharpie. I also sponged the edges of all paper pieces before adding them. The elements inside the bauble are fussy cut from the Parisian Gardens Cut and Create sheets. The pink flower is Green Tara.  I created a stand for the bauble using two of the filligree flowers which you can see better in the photo of the box with Buddha below.
A few more photo’s show the other side of the bauble, the bauble stands on top of the upturned box with the ever helpful Buddha assisting me with the shot. And finally one of the box in front of our gorgeous bougainvillea which will be getting a severe haircut when it stops flowering.
I hope you enjoyed this look at what you can do with the lovely Parisian Gardens paper collection and some of the pretty embellishments from Meg’s Garden.
Until next time, Happy Crafting

DREAMS ~ PARISIAN GARDENS

Hello Mary here again. I couldn't resist creating another layout with the New Parisian Gardens Range, I just love this range so much and wanted to create a layout with one of the ideas I had when looking through my DT goodies Meg had sent me.
DREAMS

My idea came from when I saw the envelope image on the Cut and Create Sheet.

I decided to cut around the opening with my Kraft Knife to create a opening to keep a Newspaper cutting about my Mother and Fathers wedding. Now it has a place to live , is safe and tells the story of my page.

I fussy cut another image from the cut and create sheet  of the music book image to place my photo on .  The fancy oval frame houses the beginning of my bouquet of flowers, containing the lovely lemon flowers and the gorgeous glass flower . I have sat the word Dreams , cut from the cut and create sheet and shaded with mauve ink amongst the bouquet , along with some pearl trim lace and muslin . A mauve ribbon ties it altogether . To the side sits a gold dragonfly charm.

Everything besides the "happy" word chippy , that I have embossed in mauve can be found at  Megs Store
Thank You for calling by. I looking forward to creating some more projects with this range and I hope you are inspred to do the same.
Until next time
Happy Creating

For this layout, I have used 2 sheets of the 'Parisian' collection, with some cut outs from the 'Cut and Create' sheets.

The  'diamond' shapes are cut from the Parisian papers and as you can see all match perfectly on the doiley base.  Ribbons, flowers, fibres and metal from Meg's Garden.

CHERISH ~ PARISIAN GARDENS

Hello Mary here to share a layout with the beautiful new range Parisian Gardens .
Oh my , when I opened the box I was in heaven &  literally could not wait to create with it. As I looked at each of the beautiful pages , I had ideas running through my head.
I did sit down and create a page that afternoon and busting to create more projects with this range when I get home from holidays.
Cherish

Once again I have kept my layout quite simple , as the papers are so beautiful , they don't need a lot of embellishment I feel.

I have fussy cut the music/ script/bird piece from the images on the cut and create sheet and inked it slightly with a blue shade. I made a tag from the image of the beautiful lady on the cut and create sheet  and embellished it with the gold butterfly charm , rosette and vintage trinket and lace
The Word Cherish I have used as my title and cut it from the cut and create sheet.
The only product not from Megs Garden is the Circle Chippy, all other products I have used you can find in Megs Store
Until next time
Happy Creating

Ribbon and Roses

Roses, Ribbon, butterflies and a Pretty Lady

megs-butterfly-card

Roses, ribbon, a gorgeous butterfly and a pretty lady.  This is definitely a card for the Romantic female who loves vintage.

Hi Everyone, Barbara here from Meg’s Garden Design Team.  Now that Christmas is behind us, it’s time to venture back into the craftroom for some creativity.
I began this card with a piece of  heavy duty white cardstock.  I sponged the edges of all the pieces before layering them onto the card base.  The butterfly is fussy cut from one of Meg’s ‘Ephemera cut and Create pages,’ and also edge sponged for a neat finish.
Above is a closer view and the finished inside of the card.  Again all edges were sponged before attaching to the card and another fussy cut butterfly to tie in with the card front.
If you would like to create similar cards to mine, pop over to Meg’s Garden and browse the pretty paper collections, embellishments, ribbon and ephemera that are available. You won’t be disappointed and you will be amazed at the choices.
Until next time, happy papercrafting.

A pretty little letter box set by Meredith Hilly

Hello everyone. I would love to share with you a pretty little letter box I made.
I transformed a empty chocolate box into a useful gift for Christmas.
I am a bit old fashioned and still love to send and receive snail mail letters.

The Spring Pastel papers from Megs Garden work really well with the silver and purple colours I chose. Don't be afraid to cut metal embellishments to suit you project. At the top of my box is the word Post Card and I cut a metal embellishment in half and stuck it either side of the words.

I added a little handle to the box which makes it easier to open.

I just love how these flowers pop when teamed with the silver bracken fern I spray painted.

Inside the letter box there are a few things I made for letter writing.

A pen with a little bottle of Dandelion seeds. The Dandelion seeds are there to remind you that you will always have time to write a letter.

When you open the little envelope I have placed some stamps ready for you to mail your letters.

I made three cards with envelopes to be used.

Thanks for taking the time to look at my letter box set.
