Rose Quartz Cards by MIRIAM

TWO ROSE QUARTZ CARDS by MIRIAM

Hello everyone. Today I have used the beautiful Rose Quartz paper from Meg's Garden. The soft
colours of this collection are just lovely, so I don't like to cover them up with too many embellishments. The lace and pearls are from Meg's Garden.

Used glossy accents on the petals.

Covered the stems with a glue pen and dusted with glitter powder.

Filled the centre of the flowers with glossy accents and added some glass beads to the centre.

The die cut I covered with Versa Mark Silver.

Other products used.

Pink ribbon
Glass beads  .

Rose Quartz Jar by Katrina Thompson

Hello everyone. It's great to coordinate your cards with a decorated jar, tin or box.
It is also a great gift to give. Today I have decorated a jar using the Rose Quartz collection
to coordinate with the cards I have made previously. Katrina x

I've selected a range of images from the Rose Quartz papercrafter pack together with
some muslin, paper flower petals and some ribbons/lace.
Wash and dry your bottles well. This one had an existing label which was easily covered by the muslin and papers. I glued the scalloped lace then tied the different trims around the neck.
Wrap a piece of green organza through the middle of the muslin. Secure both ends beneath
your centre papers so you don't have to run a line of glue or tape around the jar.
Create a flower by layering petals of coordinating colours. Glue it over the knot.
Back your word and feature image with a light weight cardstock so it is easier to
wrap and attach to the jar.
Attach the butterfly through the body so the wings can flutter free.
A great jar for mini marshmallows I think!!

Thankyou for looking and until next time, Happy Creating!! K x

Rose Quartz Mini Book by Meredith Hilly

Hello everyone. I have made a mini book using 12x12 pages using the beautiful papers from Megs garden.

I cut out the smaller pictures which I then made into tags to slide into the pockets. I tied gold, brown and green ribbon on different ones.

I used the beautiful light rose lace to frame pictures.

Gold leaves and gold edging was glued into the book to make it pretty like the old photos of the ladies in the book.

The tiny roses from Megs garden are terrific small detail element to any picture.

I like the metal flower with the green flower beside it as they are both not what you would call a traditional colour of flowers.

Using double sided 12x12 paper this is how the mini book is made.

Fold the paper  in half.

Then fold it in half the other way.

As the below picture shows cut a 5mm strip out of the page.

Fold the page up then back on itself to form a pocket.

Stick it down. one side has a pocket and the other is a page.

Turn over and do the same again.

Now you will have another pocket and a page the other side.

Using this technique you can make as many pages as you like and thread a piece of ribbon and lace to bind it into a book. This book can be made into a lot of different page set ups. So experiment a little.

Thanks for taking the time to look at my latest project. Thanks Megs for such pretty papers and embellishments. Keep up the great work.

Another Vintage Romantic Junk Journal for Meg's Garden

Hi everybody,

I believe that most of you love Roses.Me too,so I was really happy to create my projects using beautiful collection "Rose Quartz" from Meg's Garden shop. I am coming today share with you my second project out of this collection.Again I choosed make a journal but before I will show some pics and video I would like to share with you what interesting facts about Roses I just found on internet.
I always enjoy read about vintage things but what I didn't know before, that Vintage Roses also exist :D
One of those unique flowers is still alive. For more than 1000 years large rose bush covers the wall of the Cathedral of Hildesheim in Germany and other is rose fossil which was found in Colorado in the age of about 35 million years. That is really awesome, don't you think?
In nature, the genus Rosa has some 150 species spread throughout the Northern Hemisphere, from Holland to Mexico and North Africa. Although roses can come in a wide variety of colours, a “black rose” is not actually black. It is actually a very dark red.Different coloured roses are used to convey different feeling of passion and emotion. For instance,  red roses are used to show the people’s romance, love, and passion. However, if you want to show empathy, happiness, and familiar love, you can give yellow roses. To deliver the poetic romance and gentleness, delicate pink roses are used.....is lot of more amazing informations but  I believe it's enough for now.
It's time to show and share with you my Romantic journal...

I made a video with this journal as well if you are interested...
