This beautiful collection is so eclectic in its design and I hope that you have had a chance to check it all out HERE.

I have  based it on one of Meg's Gardens doileys.  I also made a frame and covered with this paper and have used some gloss accents.

Then I have used some lovely ribbon and metal embellishments .

I hope you have enjoyed our little journey through this 'In the Watercolour Garden' and will visit Meg's site to see more of this gorgeous collection.

Purse Caddy

Purse Caddy

Hello everyone,
Leanne here with you today & I would like to share a project that I have created using the gorgeous new designer patterned paper called In the Watercolour Garden.

First I applied one coat of paint to my MDF purse caddy.

Next I traced all of the purse shapes onto my patterned paper. I cut out each shape then fixed each of the patterned paper to the MDF shape. I then inked all of the edges with distress ink old paper.

I then glued all of the sections of the purse caddy together.

To complete my project I added an arrangement of flowers & leaves, plus some lovely silver pearl
trim.

Until next time.
Thanks for stopping by.
Have a wonderful day & happy creating.
Leanne

New Christmas Papers

Hello Bloggers

Are you ready for Christmas projects?

The new collection is called 'A Twinkling Christmas'

The Christmas Fairies & Elves said that they wanted a collection to match their pastel tulle dresses. The pastel colours used are to celebrate the twinkling lights on the houses at Christmas & the joy created by the beautiful baubles & decorations.

Shabby Chic File Folder Mini Album

Hello friends of Meg's Garden! Today I have a file folder album to share with you, using the journal papers from the Watercolour Garden Collection. These papers have various beautiful prints, which you will see during this blog post. When I first viewed these papers I was going to create a planner or pages for a planner.....but then I came across these beautiful file folders and loved the concept more. There are several tutorials on Youtube at the moment but the one I liked the most is found here.

I really wanted to showcase the papers in this album, so the pages are very simple. I utilised the ephemera to create journalling spots. Left over manilla card was used to create tags and flips in the album.

I used my We 'R Memories Keepers envelope punch board to create tabs in the album, to define each section of the album.

Extra pockets enable spaces for mini books, tags and other photos.

Adding lace, ribbon and washi tape adds to shabby chic/vintage feel.

Enjoy the video below of the walk through of the completed album.

MEMORY JOURNAL

Hello Mary here to share a little memory journal I created for a Penfriend who lost her Grandmother last year.
To create the journal I have used Papers from several of Megs Gardens ranges. I have used Rose Quarts, Parisian Gardens, Water colour in Blue and Spring Pastels along with images from the Cut and Create ranges. That is the beauty of Megs papers , they all work so well together. The post is photo heavy, so maybe grab a cuppa and sit back and hopefully enjoy.

I have created a little pocket for my friend to pop maybe recipes of her Grandmothers, little sayings or memorabilia

another little pocket for notes and I have left room for Photos and journalling on most of the pages

I have used Lace from Megs Store to hold some journal cards in place.

I have tucked journal cards inside the envelope for writing down thoughts and added Lavender mesh ribbon for texture .

I have left an opening in the heart shape to slip a tag inside

another pocket for tags and memorabilia

and the final page has a frame to slide a photo in .

I hope you have enjoyed calling by and for all these gorgeous papers and embellishments and so much more pop over to Megs Store
Happy Creating
