NEW SHABBY CHIC BACKGROUNDS

Good afternoon Crafters,

Liz here today showcasing a couple of the new Meg's Garden Shabby Chic Collection.  Beautiful soft colours in this range and perfect for your creative needs.

As it has been sometime since creating a  layout for you, this is what I have chosen this month. The circle backing is from Meg's Garden and is so lovely and soft.  Teamed with this Shabby Chic collection sets it all off beautifully.

A close up of Meg's flowers and brass element, add that little bit of flair to the any layout.
The butterfly and little lavender are from the Shabby chic cutouts and here is a close up.

You will notice, no title or pics as yet, but I am sure I will have some lovely pics of my grand girls to slot in shortly. :)

Thank you for taking the time to look today and you can check out more of this lovely collection HERE.

Until next month......happy creating.....Liz

A Fathers Love ~ In the Watercolour Garden

Hello Mary here to share another layout using the In the WaterColour Garden range of Papers.

A Fathers Love

I have layered up little left over pieces of PP , roughed the edges and inked as a base for my photo. I have used strips of Megs Lace under the photo as well.

On the heart doily I have created a cluster with embellishments from Megs Store, the flowers , pearl trim and little butterfly charm all tied up with the narrow blue ribbon and the Beautfiul sentiment fussy cut from the cut and create sheet.

I punched some heart shapes in the blue and silver , cut the silver in half and added to the blue heart , a delicate cherry blossom pattern stencil and texture paste.
Another page I can add to the album.
Thank you for calling by and hope I have inspired you to visit Megs Store  , you won't be disappointed.
Happy Creating

Remember layout by Marina Gridasova

Hello ladies and gents! Marina here with you today and I'm happy and proud to be a designer for Meg's Garden! Woohoo!
And here is my first work with Alchemy 101 collection.
 details:

This collection is vintage in neutral colors, so I can create a layout about my nephew with mixed-media look. I cut a bacground with Silhouette Cameo and stamped the bottom layer to add more texture. From my stash I used banner, chipboards and hand-made cork embellishments.
Hopeyou will like my work )))
Have a good day,
Marina.

I would give you the stars ~ In the Watercolour Garden 04

Hello Mary here to share a layout using the "In the Watercolour Garden Range" This range is so pretty and elegant, perfect for documenting my Daughters recent wedding

I Would Give you the Stars

I have kept the layout simple so as not to distract from the gorgeous paper

The chipboard pieces are from my stash , which I have just painted with gesso. I added Megs Satin edged organza ribbon and pearl trim on the feather. The butterfly I fussy cut from the Cut and Create Sheet.

I placed some gems randomly and a rose pattern with texture paste and stencil in the corner

Some lace from Megs store above my photo for some softness.
Simpliciy sometimes is the best.

Thank you for calling and I hope I have inspired you to visit Meg's Store for Gorgeous papers and embellishments to document your precious memories.
Happy Creating

Simple Design to Create Cards

Happy New Year! I hope that you are having a safe and restful holiday season. The end of the year is always a whirlwind with preparations for gatherings with little free time to create, so I was so excited to find some time to use some of my Lavande papers from Meg's Garden to create two cards. My first uses some dies and flowers to create this all purpose card with a stamped sentiment. I was wanting a card that could be used for several occasions and I felt this sentiment was perfect.
I layered my papers and used foam tape for dimension. I also placed an oval die over part of the paper so that I could stamp my sentiment on it and incorporate it into my design.
My second card is a thank you card. I never seem to have enough of these cards! It is also from the same sheet of paper and was constructed in the same way.
I am really thrilled at how these cards turned out...simple design and easy to adapt for any card size and occasion.
