Hi Everyone,

This is my first creation using Meg's new Spring Flowers Collection.

Coordinating with this collection, I have used paper flowers, Cut and Create pages, ribbons, pearls to accent and also distress ink to recolour and highlight.

The inspiration for this card started with the lovely vintage lady piece, from another of Meg's earlier collections.

 I also used a gold pearl and white pearl  from Meg's collection which enhances the poinsettia!

Love & Joy

Hello everyone & welcome.

Today I would love to share with you a Christmas card I have created for Meg's Garden Blog.
I have used the new Christmas collection of papers that are now available in Meg's Garden online store.

What a perfect why to celebrate Christmas by sending Love & Joy, beautiful flowers and lots of holly to loved ones this Festive season.

For this card I have distressed and inked the background paper using gold ink.

Next I fussy cut this floral image from the watercolour wreath sheet. I adhered this using 3D foam tape. To add further detail I added some holly sprigs from the transparency sheet. One dot of glue is all that was needed to fix the holly cut outs in place. I added my sentiment and the gold bead trim. A touch a glitter and some pearls to finish.

Under the Mistletoe

Hello everyone & welcome,

Today I would love to share with you a Christmas card created with the new paper collection called An Elegant Christmas, which is now available to purchase from Meg's Garden online store.

Traditional Christmas colours of red, green & gold feature on this card.

The background paper has been distressed then inked with gold ink. I have fussy cut then inked the holly wreath before fixing in place with 3D foam tape.

Next I added 2 large holly sprigs from the transparency sheet.

Red ribbon was adhered to the top & bottom corners and these gorgeous gold pearls were then fixed in place for extra dimension. The sentiment was matted to gold paper before being added to the top left hand corner. To finish my card I added a bow, red flower, lots of gold stamens, a gold leaf and glitter.

Graduation, Birthday or Wedding

Hello everyone and welcome,

I have been busy creating lots of cards and pretty things using these truly gorgeous papers and decorative journal cards available from Meg's Garden online store.

I just love this beautiful image, so elegant & feminine. I think this card would be lovely as a Graduation, Birthday or Wedding card.

 I have created a simple card with a layer of patterned paper & picture image. To finish I added some cheesecloth, an organza bow & a cluster of flowers. And what card would not be complete without some glitter and pearls.

Believe in miracles

Hello everyone & welcome,

Today I have another Christmas card that I would love to share with you. It is created from the paper collection called An Elegant Christmas. This collection is available from Meg's Garden online store.

White, gold and black is my colour scheme for this simple to make card.
My base is a white square card. I have trimmed some black cardstock and adhered this to my base. Next I have matted a square of Ivory with a cream Damask to the black card. Lace & gold trim was added.
I have die cut a circle in white cardstock. I then embossed and inked this piece before adhering in place.

I mounted the angel image onto black cardstock before adhering in place with 3D foam tape. To finish I added a sentiment, glitter glue and some gold & crystal pearls.

An Elegant Christmas

Hello everyone & welcome,

Today I would love to share with you a Christmas card that I have created using the new Christmas collection called "An Elegant Christmas" available from Meg's Garden online store.

I love this picture of Santa in his beautiful blue and white fur coat. I think he looks very regal indeed.
The colour scheme for my card is blue and white with a touch of silver.

 To create my card I first started with a white square card for the base. Next I added some blue cardstock. I then added the background paper: Deep cream with snowflakes.  I love this organza ribbon with it's silver dots that look like snow.

I was lucky to find this silver fiber paper in my craft stash. It adds a touch of shimmer and works well with the organza ribbon. It also frames the Santa image making it stand out more.

To finish I added a blue flower, a silver bow, a sentiment and of cause silver pearls. A clean and simple elegant Christmas card. I have used the following papers below.
