Pastel Inspiration

Inspiration in Lace lived up to its beautiful name. So much inspiration in one collection.

A beautiful image of a wistful young lady from the Inspiration in Lace collection inspired this card. A heart border of pink bling, muted pastel flowers, a dainty ribbon, metal embellishment and sentiments complete this card.

Another inspirational image from the collection for this card. The background paper looked so real you could almost touch the lace! The die cut frame was bound in narrow ribbon giving a 3D effect. A beautiful cream embroidered ribbon, and toning pastel flowers in similar colours as the Cut & Create image, and some pearls finish the look.

Lavender Memories

Another two cards, in deeper tonal colours this time, using Inspiration in Lace collection.

A triptych panel of lavender. The base paper and three floral Cut & Create images, all from the beautiful new collection. A delicate square paper doily compliments the lace depicted in the base paper. Narrow lilac ribbon forms a border around the triptych panels, with each panel triple mounted.
A delicate bow, small paper flowers and feathers in a deep purple finish this eclectic card.

The beautiful lace paper from the collection was used as the formation of this card. The whimsical image of a young girl holding a rose was perfect to mount with several layers to feature and border with metal embellishment corners to finish the frame.
A cream ribbon runs down the side of the card with an exquisite length of embroidered leaves and flowers piece.
A sentiment suitable to the image plus a small hat pin and more embroidery was added to finish the card.

A Lady's Diary in the Garden

Hello Paper Artists

Lady Annabelle went to Paris to see the new Eiffel Tower on the last video using
'A Lady's Diary' Paper Collection.

https://www.youtu.be/ZWmRVJHXQ

This next video uses the journal papers from 'A Lady's Diary' Collection but not the associated Cut & Creates. This video is to show you how one set of papers can be used in totally different ways & styles just by changing the Cut & Creates

The Cut & Create Papers are designed along with a set of journal papers BUT they can be used independently as this video show.

Thanks for watching - hope you enjoyed the second take with the papers.

Bye for now
Meg

The papers are available in digital format at:

My Collaged Folder

Hello everyone & welcome,

Today I have a project that I would love to share with you. The paper I have chosen is from the new collection called Inspiration in Lace cut & create sheets.

I have created a special folder just to store all of my Meg's Garden design patterned papers.

This is a Kraft coloured folder before its transformation. The folder measures 26 x 31.5cm.

To decorate my folder I firstly mixed some Matisse acrylic paint & Reeves iridescent medium together. This was applied to the whole folder both inside & out, then allowed to dry.

I then add some stenciling and stamping.

Next I started to decorate with images from the cut & create sheets & a paper doily.  I then added  embellishments of pretty lace, trims, trinkets, buttons, glitter glass, string of pearls, SA pearls, metal charms and punched out paper flowers to adorn the front cover of my folder.

Inside front cover has also been decorated.
Plus, now I can easily flick through each sleeve to see exactly what I need and my papers are safe from being crushed.

The inside back cover. I am so happy with the end result.

You will find this very feminine & pretty paper collection in Meg's Etsy store.

Until next time,
Happy creating,
