Introduction and some Summer Garden Creations
Hello everyone! My name is Jeanette Wilde and I have had the privilege of being invited to join Meg's Garden's design team. My first projects use the gorgeous papers of the Summer Garden kit and the very versatile ephemera set. My love is junk journals and mini albums and I really enjoyed using these papers to make a cloth covered journal - used some vintage upholstery and cotton fabric. You can see a flip through of the journal here.
I also made a really simple card which has a unique tuck front.
I hope you have enjoyed my creations and I look forward to sharing more with you in the future!

How tto make a Layered Journal
Hello Paper Artists
Sometimes an idea pops into your head. In this case what colour cardstock to use? Black seemed too stark & the moccha too much the same as the papers & the ephemera. Hence the idea to layer with both
This Journal uses the Papers & Cut & Create Ephemera from the Digital files at Etsy #20464 & #20470. The layering is done using the 5x7" background papers on both Black & Mocha cardstock; the majority of the ephemera are also done this way.
The layering creates a visually effective impact & also brings out the colours & highlights on the papers & ephemera used - more pizazz than the papers by themselves particularly with vintage background papers.
