FRAMED HEART

Hello
Thank you for popping into Megs Garden  Blog
Annette here
Today I'm sharing with you a
 'FRAMED HEART'
created with papers from the
LAVANDE collection from
Purples, mauves, lilac & lavender are not colours I work with often
however this range certainly managed to get my creative juices working
The frame was a plastic one bought from a bargain store,
I painted with gesso, then rubbed with inka golds in purple & silver.
I fussy cut the floral heart & adhered it to a heart shaped doily,
A spray of flowers, a sprinkle of glitter, metal 'LOVE' title & a quote:
' the best & most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or
even touched- they must be felt with the heart.'
completed the framed work .

Whilst you are visited scroll through the previous posts & be inspired by the lovely creations from the Garden Girls

Happy Scrapping

The other products used on this tag are -
Chipboard ornate frame
Purple pearls
Rubon words

Tag number 2

I have fussy cut flower and cut out and framed the beautiful period lady.
Vintage clock chippie
Ornate square frame

Now for my third tag

Beside the beautiful Lavande Patterned Papers I have used -

Pencil Tins by meredith Hilly

Hello everyone.
The project I wanted to share with you is some pencil tins I made. There so many sized tinned food items at your local supermarket that there will be a size to suit everyone.
After empting the contents wash and let dry. You can spray the inside if you wish with a colour.
I liked the rose gold trim and white insides so I did not spray paint mine.

I even decorated the bottom of my tins.
Hope this gave you an idea of recycling your used tins before throwing them.
There is so much to choose from at Megs garden that any décor you have can be found so you pencil tin will match your desk.
Bye for now.
