Tea cup cards by Meredith Hilly
Hello.
I have had fun making teacups on cards with Megs newest papers.
The card is larger then my normal cards by I had so many goodies that were perfect for the card it just couldn't be a small card. The cups are 3D with a cute tea bag tag from one cup. I decorated the cups with lace and pearls.
Thanks for taking the time to look at my latest card.
MEGS GARDEN
Simple & Elegant
Hello everyone,
I have created a simple yet elegant card using patterned papers from Meg's Garden online store.
The papers are from the Vintage Journal card series called Vintage Flowers. I have also used some A4 watercolour paper along with paper lace strips, organza ribbon, and trims.

My card is suitable for any occasion eg. Birthday, Engagement, Wedding, Anniversary or as a sympathy card.
To create my card I have distressed the paper edges using a distressing tool.
The edges were then inked using a shade of light brown ink. I like how inking adds extra dimension to the distressed edges.
Then the trims and papers were layered and added to my card base.
The flower journal card is adhered using 3D foam tape.
To finish add an organza bow, self-adhesive pearls and a touch of glitter.
Until next time.
I hope you all have a wonderful day & happy creating.

Springtime Lilacs
Hello Crafters,
Two of my favourite colours to create with are pinks and lilacs, and luckily for me, Meg's new Spring Flowers Collection uses this palette perfectly.
For a subtle, yet elegant look, I created this card featuring two papers from the collection - one a slightly bolder design, and the other delicate, but they pair together beautifully.
My centrepiece is cut from the ever versatile Cut & Create Ephemera sheets, and I have layered several for dimension and that extra hint of colour. They sit atop a die cut frame, with lace and a doily to finish the base.
I did not want to overwhelm the design, letting the vintage lady stand out on her own. I added the butterflies, cut from the ephemera and transparency sheets, and finally a flower to embellish. Simple yet stunning effect.
Hope you are all enjoying the springtime collection as much as I am!
