'Constance' by Eila Sandberg

This is the project submitted by Eila Sandberg to The Color Room for palette #92 using 'Articles de Paris' paper from Le Belle Jardin Collection.

I really loved the style of the LO, the embellishments & how she used the paper to its max.  I went to Eila's blog to see more http//www.dollopsofscrap.blog.com.  The detail of the LO was so gorgeous & exciting that I just had to share it with you.  The top pic is her original LO for The Color Room.

The girl in the photo is not unknown, her name was Constance and she lived in Paris with her family during the Belle Epoque. In this pic from 1902 she is about 8 years old.

The following pics are the close ups done by Eila.

You can have a look at her blog for her descriptions.

While I was on her blog, I saw  2 other projects that I wanted to show you - the first one Eila says 'was done out of scraps' - some of the new collection & some of the French Garden Collection

The 2nd project I wanted to show you because of the unique use of  the doily & also how German scrap & a Paper lace strip can be coloured to advantage.

Lots more to see & do in the hunt for 'create, inspire & challenge'

Bye for now
Meg
