using the new
Spring Paisley Collection
'My layout is called
"Teacups" and it's a girly one ;)...
I have used the delightful brand new line of patterned papers
from Meg's Garden; "The
Spring Paisley Collection". The papers I've specifically
used are Spring Pink Toile and Spring
Green Toile. I've fussy cut around Spring Pink Tolle to make a
frame and I've trimmed Spring Green Tolle a little to show a little cardstock
underneath which has had it's edges dry-brushed with brown acrylic paint.
I think these two papers work so well together.
I love how Meg's
Garden patterned papers come with an extra skinny sheet to work with.
Instead of using these for fussy cutting in this instance, I have
actually layered three of them together. The green strip has been cut in
half and separated to give the illusion that it's bigger - so it pokes above and
below the pink strip.
Here's another detailed shot, so you can see my paintwork,
machine stitching and fussy cutting - all techniques that lend themselves so
well to this beautiful range...'
What a fabulous LO Chantal - well done. You have a perfect little model in Heidi.
I am loving the layers & how you combined the 2 papers - beautiful
Kind regards
Meg
