Shell scraps her little girl Evie

Hi Bloggers

Little girls always make for a very pretty page & Shell shows us how she does it.

Shell explains:  'Today I'd like to show you a page I created using some of the gorgeous papers designed by Denise Anne.  Evie just turned 2 last month & I captured some stunning photos of her all dressed up ready for her party. I wanted to use some romantic papers & was thinking of a pink & green theme to match Evie's dress & the garden background. A French Garden collection has a gorgeous colour scheme that suited perfectly. In the end I edited my photo to black & white as it matched the papers better!

I have done some fussy cutting of the flowers & leaves on the French Garden sheet & some of the frames on the Collage Cartouche sheet

I sprayed the lace with some Glimmermist to give it a more vinatge feel rather than leaving it white

To give the chippie frame an aged/vintage look firstly prime the frame with gesso. Once dry use the a cinnamon ink as a base & lightly ink the entire frame
Next take the olive green ink & ink over the top of the cinnamon ink  & use the brown ink & roughly/randomly ink edges. Use the Distress crackle paint over the top for that beautiful textured crackle look

No page is complete without some beautiful floral embellishments! I prefer to use a large flower as a centrepiece so I chose the Princess flower for this & surrounded it with some smaller flowers in complementing colours
