Another ancestry LO from Helen

Hello Bloggers

This is Helen's 2nd LO using a vintage with its associated story:

Helen explains:

'The Christmas collection is just a delight.  I love the soft, Eucalyptus greens and the Cranberry reds….they inspired me to scrap a photo of my Father as a baby and journal something about his Mother, my Granny. My Mother always had red roses flowering at Christmas time, so these papers remind me of her too.'

Meg’s Garden
"Christmas Roses" & the extra strip, which was fussy cut to
layer around the photo.

I thought the distressed flourish chipboard worked well with the vintage dress and the circle of crystals enhanced the Christmas wreath.

Other products used
Chipboard - French Flourish Border
Color Box inks
Brown & Green Cardstock, Racy Raspberry
border punch, Vintage doily, Silks Acrylic glaze, Gold,
Rock Candy, Crystals, distress ink - Bundled sage

A beautiful LO & a wonderful memory page - well done Helen. Love the placement of the layered photo balanced by the journaling.  The fussy cut flowers are so well done & add a touch of colour to the LO. Thanks you for sharing your family with us in these 2 layouts.

Bye for now
Meg
