'SCRAPBOOKING MEG'S GARDEN APRIL PROJECT
BY HEATHER JACOB

I decided to alter the accordion book by cutting the cover away from the accordion pages .
I created a spine with cardboard and covered the cover and spine with the delicious new paper range.. “Forget me not Collection…. “
My theme for this mini book is about the ever changing seasons.…

The “Forget – Me – Not “ Collection is sooooooooo stunning I felt I wanted to create a book that reflected a walk through the ‘Cycle of Life .”

Cover
Shades of blue P6302 , Velvet flowers

Inside pages
Birds in Forget me nots P6303, Nesting P6301A , Articles de Paris P62394
My first page …. I joined 2 pages together creating a pocket to hold tags and photos.
The rest of the book is made up of double pages and tied to the spine with ribbon .
I had great fun, fussy cutting the flowers and using a diecut  to add dimension on each page.
Flowers, leaves, keys, muslin  and chipboard have all been added throughout the book…

The keys are covered with texture paste (Golden ) and dried with a heat gun then mounted on chipboard covered with paper and muslin
I also added positive affirmations and quotes throughout the book

I adored working with these papers for my very first project as a DESIGN TEAM MEMBER with MEG’S GARDEN …
They are so versatile and a dream for anyone who loves fussy cutting .. the colors are exquisite .
I hope I have inspired you in some way ..

Thanks Meg for choosing me on your team, I know I am going to love this journey …
