Wall Frames by Brenda Caldow

Hello crafty friends and welcome to Megs Garden and my latest creations with the beautiful
Water Colour In Blues patterned papers. I love everything about these patterned papers and I know that you will too.

When I got these papers I couldn't wait to use them. I have a couple of friends with birthdays coming up so I decided to create a wall frame for each of them.

For my first one I used a timber frame to place the gorgeous papers on. My center piece I fussy cut from the cut and create sheet, I distressed the edges and then inked them with Distress Ink. I found a verse and placed on it and then raised it up in the middle with cardboard.
The edges of the timber frame I coloured with a Royal Blue Copic.

I edged the center with pearls and fussy cut the butterflies from the patterned papers. I love the Organza and Pearl flowers, they have a beautiful soft feel to them.

Behind the beautiful blue flowers and on the back of the frame I placed some of the White Nylon Lace. This lace is stunning and has an elegant look to it. The outside edge of the frame I inked with a blue/grey  Distress Ink.

Now for my other wall frame created with the same stunning papers but this time I decided to go with the purple tones instead of the blue.

I chose this time to use a chipboard as my frame and I coloured it with a purple Copic. Again I fussy cut the beautiful purple flowers from the patterned paper and inked the edge with Weathered Wood Distress Ink. I also raised it with cardboard and then placed some gold pearls in the corners.

The sentiment I also fussy cut from the patterned papers. As I said I love the Nylon Lace so again I used it on this wall hanger. The violas had that touch of purple and went perfectly. The other flower I used is a Blue and White Apple Blossom, they come in 5 different colors and look great on any craft project. The brass flying bird was my final touch.
On the bottom corner I used one of the Violas and then fussy cut the butterfly from the Water Colour In Blues patterned paper.

I hope you have enjoyed having a look at my two wall frames. Don't forget to keep scrolling down and have a look at other stunning creations from the design team.
