Parisian Garden scrapbook journal photo mini album

This Parisian Garden collection is perfectly suited to my speciality of creating mini albums.  The papers are gorgeous in their cream, sage green and lavender colour palette. The Ephemera cut and create sheets are filled with antique labels and adverts, beautiful tags and sample photographs.  If this garden exists I could stroll through it all day.
I am so please i get to make one of my albums using this collection and embellishments from the design team kit and my own collection.
I have tried various techniques in the album to see how the papers handle various media and treatments.
Here are the first 5 pages of this 10 page 6x6 Parisian Garden scrapbook journal photo mini album...

Parisian Garden page 1 - Dream

This 6x6 page has a horizontal pocket trimmed with a lace edge from the doily sheet and glitter.
The central panel of the doily sheet has been carefully snipped out and lightly coloured to provide the page background.

A selection from the cut and create ephemera sheet has been arranged in layers on the right and decorated with tiny punch cut blooms dropped randomly until a pleasing arrangement was achieved.

Page 1 Tag detail

The key was cut from the ephemera sheet and entwined with silver craft wire and tiny beads to add interest and texture.

The tag was finished with a small lavender bow from the 5mm ribbon.

The pocket contains a large tag with die cut top, a photograph matt with bar corners and a small tag with lavender bow.

The pocket has been enhanced with a length of mesh ribbon, decorative title with ends made from the filigree strip vintage trinket, broken in half and painted with black gesso, and elements from the silver daisy trim.

The page has been finished with an element from recyeled jewellery.

Parisian Garden page 2 - Love

This page has a vertical pocket featuring a triple photomatt and die cut edge.

Inside the pocket is a bi-fold booklet made from the same sheet of green musical paper as the background, enhanced with a keyhole moulded element.

A selection of floral elements from stock, with rosebud from the DT kit and a touch of sparkle from the daisy trim enhances the top right hand corner of the page.

The page title is a tiny pocket holding a small tag and ticket from the ephemera sheet, enhanced with a drop pearl from recycled jewellery.

Parisian Garden page 3 - Love

This page features a match book flip up design in a contrasting paper to the background.
On the front of the matchbook is a pocket containing an antique advertising tag and a bifold mixed media card.

The background for the mixed media bifold card is taken from the line art and captions ephemera page, primed with clear gesso and coloured with ’magicals’ paints and gesso.

The title ‘unique art’ was cut from the ephemera page.

Behind the match book is a hidden pocket containing a floral edged tag which features an advert from the ephemera sheet mounted on neutral card stock and enhanced with a lavender handmade tassel and tear drop gem from recycled jewellery.
The paper flowers and stamens are from stock.

Parisian Garden page 4 - Inspire

This z fold delicately lacy printed page opens to twice its width providing lots of space for journaling.  The photomatts are indicated by the images of the ladies.
Sections from the lace doily have been snipped apart to enhance the lacy page.

The main feature of this page is the layered statement flower containing the Filigree flower vintage element which was waxed in gold and is layered between paper petals and finished with a large lavender gem, and lavender stamens.

The inspire charm from the spring pastels design team kit has been utilised in the piece.

When open, there is plenty of room for journaling and photographs, with a dedicated stamped area indicated in the central panel of the page.
A trio of gems enhance the page at each edge.

Parisian Garden page 5 - Create

The page is divided into 3 panels.  Some scraps of lavender paper have been used on the edges to complement the lavender music printed paper.

The edge panels have been enhanced using single sections from recycled lace.

The central panel opens to revel space inside for more photographs or journaling. With some lovely antique advertising elements added.

The front of the page has a recycled photograph frame from texture tissue, containing an advert or space for your own photograph.

The Filigree long oval vintage trinket was primed with black gesso and brushed with silver wax to bring out the details.

The floral element on the side of the frame is assembled by making half a rosette from the cream metallic ribbon, backing with green 5mm ribbon loops.

A recycled paper petal layer nestles on the rosette and holds a silver daisy trim element, finished with a single lavender bead to make a small statement piece for this page.

I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the collection to make the first 5 pages of this album,  they work so well together and the excellent ephemera is so versatile.

Thank you for looking,I hope you like what i have achieved so far,
hugs
