Using up those little pieces left over

Hello Mary here today and I thought I would like to share a few simple ways to use those pieces we have left over after completing layouts.
Travel Notebooks are very popular at the moment and I have just completed my first one documenting my daughters Hens dinner

I found the 4" x 12" strip that comes with the 12 x 12 papers works well for decorating my pages with . By placing the strip length wise it is the right width and I just needed to trim some off the bottom.

One side of your notebook is a plastic sleeve, so you can pop sequins etc in as well if you choose and then use a fuse tool to seal the opening

The cut and create images are great for decorating your page as well , or you can create your own embellishments by puching shapes like butterflies, hearts , stars etc from the small pieces of PP, punch a circle to layer them on , add some ribbon a quote .

I am keen to make another Travellers note book, they are great for documenting a event or daily life.
Next I made a birthday card

I constructed the card by layering little squares of Left over PP from the Sherlock Holmes Papers ,I also layered some images from the cut and create sheet and fussy cut the gentleman from the Cut and Create sheet. I distressed and inked around the edges with Vintage Paper Distress Ink.
I hope I have given you some ideas on using your left over stash . Don't forget to visit Megs Store as there are gorgeous new ranges available for you to create with.
Happy Creating
Mary x
