Hello everyone & welcome,
I just love the colours and the images in the new paper collection called Pink & Green, now available from Meg's Garden.
To create my project, I started with a sewn pocket folder that I made from a manila file folder.
I then stamped and added gesso to the back cover.
For the front cover and pocket I trimmed & then inked the patterned papers using Tim Holtzs distress ink called: Old Paper before adhering in place.
To add a little more detail to the patterned papers I added some stamping.
Next I trimmed and fussy cut images & wording from the cut & create sheets; these wonderful sheets are part of this gorgeous paper collection.
To give my project more texture & dimension, I added layers of lace trims, a metal charm, a variety of paper flowers, buttons, self-adhesive pearls, ribbon, cheesecloth, and torn paper.
I then soften the look by dry brushing small amount of gesso here and there.
Next I created some delightful treasures for my pocket.
Here is what is tucked inside:
A book mark. I love to read so I always have a book mark handy.
A pretty card suitable for any occasion.
A cute little wish note book, ready to store all of your wishes.
A embossed & embellished envelope.
A flower rosette, topper or wand what ever you may like to call it, perfect to add to a gift or cake.
A tag, ready to add to a gift or journal.
Until next time.
Thank you so much for stopping by.
I hope you have a wonderful day & happy creating.
Leanne
