Two Tiny Green Christmas Books

 Hello Paper Artists

I was introduced to these little folding treasures by Charlotte Perkins several years ago.

This is her fabulous template

12" wide x 8" high; folded in half at 4" & then folded every 3"

Tiny Book # 1

The top half is the front of the little book

Embellishments: 2 paper roses, 3 paper rosebuds, green leaves, gold dust, a tiny die-cut tag made from the swirly tags in the Cut & Creates.  The cream organza ribbon ties the tiny book closed

The entire tiny book is 3 x 4" when closed

Pages 1 & 2:  Page 1 is torn as shown on the template - a tiny die-cut tag has the same cream organza ribbon & a word art is inserted. Another word art is attached only on its bottom right corner.
Page 2: a cream die-cut

Pages 3 & 4:  Page 3 has been cut as per template - a cut & create is inserted into the tuck spot & word art on vellum glued at the cut
Page 4 has a punched heart (actually a heart die-cut). The top of the page is torn & folded down per the template. A strip of lace is added & a cut & create inserted to show through the heart.

Tiny Book #2

I cheated on this Tiny Book & made it only 4" x 12" - so you could make 3 of them out of  1 piece of 12x12" cardstock -  even more if you use cutoffs & join them. I also cheated on the template by having no tears, punched tops & centres, & no fold downs.
The ribbon used throughout is curling gold ribbon.

These tiny books can be used for any occasion. You an insert pics, poetry, sentiments & $$.

Just close your eyes, remember them & allow the idea to pop out in the future

Bye for now
Meg
