SHADES OF GREEN - TEAPOT CARD WITH TIMELESS CARDS

Hello Everyone,

Here I am again today sharing with you Meg's Garden 'Shades of Green' Collection.

I am using Pack No. 2  and the Cut & Create from this Collection and hope that you enjoy todays viewing.

Firstly, to match last month's tea cup card, I decided it make a Teapot Card, which was lots of fun putting together.

Here is the other side.

The card can be opened up for the sentiment to be written inside and then tied together with ribbon bows.

I then set about making some matching cards from this Collection.

And now for some close ups, showcasing the many varied embellishments from Meg's Garden.

Love these Doilys.

I hope you have enjoyed our journey today and that it has inspired you to start creating your own beautiful cards from Meg's Garden Collections.
Remember to check out the Labels to see all the items used on my cards.  Until next time.....enjoy your creating time.   Regards Liz.

Introducing ...... Shades of Green

Hello fellow crafters, when I received my package from Megs Garden Yesterday I was so happy, so much beautiful goodies as always and I couldn't wait to create with the New Shades of Green Range and the new dies.
This is my page

As the papers are in the A4 Size I simple add it to a piece of cardstock. Some close ups

I absolutely love this Organza Lace flower with Diamante , it is a favourite of mine and was thrilled to receive it in my DT pack , I have added the sweet little charm heart beneath it. In the top corner I placed the Filigree strip to which I added a Diamante.
And then I had a play with a couple of the new dies in the store To the left I used the Lattice and Circle Die under my photo. I fussy cut the music sheet and Lovely Rose Romance from the Cut and Create sheet from the Range.

In each corner of my Layout I added the Lines and Curls die for a touch of elegance .I hope you pop over to the store and take a look at the new products in the shop. The range of new dies are fabulous there are so many I want !

Happy Creating

There is a Girl .... Shades of Green

Hello ! Mary here to share a layout for you using the gorgeous new Range Shades of Green

There is a Girl who stole my heart, she calls me Dad

I Love this beautiful image on the Shades of Green Paper and once again I have turned it into a 12 x 12 layout by adding the PP to a Piece of cardsock

I have cut around part of the clock with a Kraft Knife to slip the photo into. Behind my photo I used one of Megs Dies, this one is called Lattice and circles, it will be great for Multi Media layouts as well as delicate layouts , I know I will use this die over and over again. The images of the flower in the top corner and the couple dancing as well as the Verse ~ Life Calls the tune .... we dance are all fussy cut from the Shades of Green Cut and Create Sheet. The lace I added for texture and then I swipe Gesso over the lace to make the lace stand out even more. Pastel enamel dots from the store complete my layout

Thank You for calling by , I hope you have enjoyed seeing some of the new range Shades of Green and visit the store to see the rest of Megs gorgeous Products for you to create with.

Happy Creating

Green with Delight

Hi Everyone,

Thank you all for your lovely comments on my previous cards! Today I have three more to share, using the new Shades of Green Card Artists Packs and Ephemera Pages.

The muted tones and floral imagery throughout this collection are wonderful to work with. Paired then with the ephemera pages, and you are in for a delight.

The lovely dancing couple, sheet music and sentiment are cut straight from the ephemera pages. I have used various thicknesses of mounting tape to create layers with the cutouts and set off the couple, having them dance the night away. Using ribbon and flowers, I gave the card extra height.

Pinks and greens in the Shades of Green collection work so well together. This floral paper from Pack 1 I used for the background here would have to be one of my favourites. I used a complimenting die cut design and layered another two ephemera cutouts, one behind the die cut, and the other on top of. I also hand sewed on green beads for added detail and dimension on the dress.

There is plenty of space in and around the designs on the ephemera pages, so I was able to die cut around this stunning design. Using a complimenting cardstock colour, I mounted the paper and die cut, adding a tear for effortless embellishment and an eye-catching element. This is another instance where the paper and ephemera work so well together.

I like distressing the edges of the card base, I think it adds to the shabby chic look, and also texture.
I finished off by inking around the distressed edges.

Take a stroll into the Garden today and have a look at the new collection!

Happy Creating,
Julia
