More cards from the French Roses collection

Hello everyone & welcome

Today I would like to share with you two cards that I have created using the French Roses paper collection. Available to purchase from Meg's garden online store.

To create this card I have distressed then inked the background sheet and the cut & create sheets before layering each piece to my card base.
A little simple fussy cutting, some flowers, rhinestones, lace & glitter glue are added to embellish this card.
A feminine card in soft tones of pink, cream and touches of brown & green.
For this card a simple colour scheme of mauve, cream a little black & a touch of gold. All papers have been distressed & inked to create a vintage style card.
To make this card lace was fixed in place to the background sheet. I then adhered this piece to the mauve cardstock.  The images were adhered to black card which was inked with gold. A bow, a large paper rose and some self-adhesive pearls were added to finish this simple elegant card.
Until next time.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Have a wonderful day & happy creating.
Leanne

New Product Line

Hello Paper Artists
We are committed to continuing our creative year with some new ideas

I sat down after doing the last newsletter & decided that it was time to
Think Outside the Box.

We needed something different & not just another Collection of papers.

The BOX has great papers - digital & printed;

styles in shabby chic, grunge, backgrounds & more and in
2 different sizes.

The BOX has embellishments - all the laces, ties & ribbons possible;
flowers in paper & fabric in many colours, sizes & shapes
vintage trinkets, handles, knobs, flowers, keys & cogs,
Cut & Create Images for any kind of project.

What we did not have was:

https://youtu.be/9BvoNVeLp_M

The video shows the New ART Tags,
as well as the new selection of Vintage Journal Cards - Mixed Colours & Styles
Both come with a paper of Word Tickets & are either printed or digital

The Art Tags are background papers 2.75x6" - 24 tags total -
ready for you to add your special touches
You can layer, embellish, add ties, use mixed media -
there are no rules - ART TAGS have no limits

Once finished:
add a sentiment on the back in a small envelope or on the front
add the tag to the front of a card
add a gusset to a blank card & use the tag inside the card
use on the front of a journal
add to an easel for display or add a strut to the back
make a 3 part card with the tag as the focus in the middle
make a special envelope that will fit

Please email me with more uses!

The new Vintage Journal Cards have some more modern images & styles -
not as many vintage ladies & bouquets of flowers. Hope you like them!

FRENCH ROSES COLLECTION LAYOUT - LOVE ALWAYS

Happy New Year Bloggers,

I trust that the New Year has started off well for you all.

Meg has started of the year with 2 New Collections.  French Roses and Alchemy 202.

Today I will be showcasing ' French Roses' Collection which is Shabby Chic in Pinks and so so very soft along with 'cut and creates' which are perfect for Journals, Artist Cards etc.

I have chosen to create a layout for you with a few of the papers to showcase how they blend in perfectly.

I was having trouble with the light today but I think you can still see the use of at least 5 papers from this beautiful collection.  I have teamed them with words and images from the 'cut and create' paper.

Ribbons and flowers from Meg's Garden Collection.  You can see in this close up Meg's New Acetate image.  There are some stunning images on these acetate sheets so be sure to check more out HERE.

I  hope you have enjoyed our little trip today there is lots more to see, so be sure to check the 2 new Collections at https://megsgarden.com/

Until next time.....happy scrapping and creating.....Liz

FRENCH ROSES COLLECTION - FAMILY LAYOUT & NOTEBOOK

Hello again Bloggers,

Well the months are certainly moving along and it is hard to keep up with all that is happening in the New Year.

For you today I have created a layout using Meg's Garden new Collection - French Roses.  Such beautiful soft colours in this range as you can see.

A small amount of fussy cutting with images of papers and cut and creates to add that special touch.

Finally I added more trim and beautiful flower  and metal bee.

Next for you, I have covered a little notebook that I have had for awhile and thought it would make a lovely gift for a friend to place in their handbag......what do you think???

It was such fun to do and has a very elegant feel to the notebook.

I trust you have enjoyed the journey today and be sure to check more out on Meg's Garden  HERE.
Until next time....happy creating.....Love Liz
