Have a look at each of the elements to this LO to see why I call them that:
the layers of papers, adding the rust, fussy cutting, the distressing of the edges,
the detail on the edges of the background,
the curls on the papers, the 2 orange/rust brads in the left corner & the clock behind & in front
- the elements are 'fabulously interesting' & work so well together
‘Hi there everyone..
Wow, I had such fun creating this page .. I used the
beautiful “ Birds in Forget me Nots” paper range, THIS PAGE FLOWED TOGETHER BEAUTIFULLY & VERY EASILY
, ( love it when that happens ) the papers are just delightful to work with,
and adding a touch of “ rust” just makes
it pop !!! these are Perfect papers for a vintage page with fussy cutting and
distressed edges - After fussy cutting
the flowers I lightly inked the edges with black Versa colour ink, just to add
definition… I inked the chipboard with Versa colour ‘Polar blue’
My handy tip
- layering the papers and adding a light touch
of ink on the edges creates texture and dimension, giving depth to the page.
