Peony Rose cards by Meredith Hilly

Hello everyone. And welcome to my Peony Rose Microscope Glass cards.
I am really enjoying using the microscope slide mailers.
Combine it with the art work that goes with it and you have a recipe for some really fun projects.

Using the German Glass Glitter and small crystal like tubes from Megs garden I made this flower
really shine. I dotted brown spots inside the flower using a normal texta then sprayed it with water.
The water made the texta run creating a nice texture. I put small pieces of brown Dodo wire vine sticking out which added a nice depth to the flower.

On the inside of the card I wrote a poem for my daughter. She recently go engaged and this will be her engagement card.

I used pink crystals that hung from the bottom of the card. They could be seen when the card was open or closed.

The second card had a silver trim which I carried through to the inside of the card.

Using a ink nib stamp from Megs Garden I teamed it up with a metal nib on the other side.
I love the colours in the tulip.

The last card is a tiny one. Using one length of blue ribbon I stuck it to the edges of the card.
The gold latch just finishes it of.

Inside I used the same blue ribbon with a lovely Art
Nouveau picture.

Thanks for having a look at my project. I recommend you to go to Megs Garden Web site and look at the  Microscope glass slides and mailers and you will be tempted to create something special.
 See you next time.
