CHRISTMAS FRAME

Hello visitors & regulars to Megs Garden Blog

Today I’m sharing with you a Christmas frame made with the

Victorian Christmas paper crafter pack 20111
This pack is also available to download

I removed the glass & painted
the four frame in gesso then 2 coats of cream paint,
then using texture paste created a rough surface & applied another coat of cream paint.
Sprayed lace lightly with walnut ink & glued around the frame adding string of small pearls.
When dry rubbed frame, lace & pearls with metallic paint in gold & bronze.

Cut my chosen pictures from the ephemera sheet, mounted them on

cream, kraft, patterned paper & cream… using DS tape & 3D tape.
all edges are stressed & inked in walnut.

I painted the chipboard angel wings with gesso & cream paint & tipped edges with gold metallic paint.

Draw feather's outlines with bronze pen.

Paint all chosen metal trims lightly with a gesso wash.
When dry tip with gold & bronze paint
Glue chosen metal trims & flowers onto the angel wings, adhere to frame

Combine all embellishments & flowers to into place in lower left corner.

Cut out ‘NOEL’ title & 3D to the frame.

Finish frame with a little sparkle with topaz gems …
