Hi Everyone and welcome to Meg’s Garden
Today I have another card to share with you, using the fabulous Spring Pastel’s Collection. I wanted to capture the essence of a small collection of vintage memorabilia.
I prepped the base card with a pretty piece of paper from the collection I have sponged and distressed all the edges before adhering them to the white base card. The postcard, the pretty lady and the ticket are all cut from the cutting sheets that come with the collection. I added some pieces of lace across the curled piece to carry the colour theme throughout the card. I also dyed a small piece of muslin to add underneath the photo. A small metal padlock and two flowers from Meg’s Garden accessories and some pink sequins finish the card. I also fussy cut the ‘remember’ and added it to the base after sponging the edges (see picture below).
Some photo’s of the inside of the card.
This paper is so pretty, so I added a few closeups.
I hope you like my card and please pop over to Meg’s Garden to see for yourself all the gorgeous products to spark your creative side.

Thanks Dolly, I love vintage too and Meg's Garden papers inspire lots of ideas in this area.
DeleteVery beautiful card...love that vintage image. I can't even imagine what it must have felt like to wear a hat like that!! Well done!
ReplyDeleteYou are very kind Martie, I appreciate you comment. A hat like that would leave my five foot frame looking somewhat like a mushroom, but it is a gorgeous hat, I agree.
DeleteWOW this is soooo elegant and pretty
