A Walk in Nature Ephemera Folder

   Hello, everyone!

It's Nancy back with a fun new project share!
I'm using one of Meg's newest kits, and it's loaded with beautiful pieces.

My project features:

A Walk in Nature Papers,

and A Walk in Nature Cut & Create.

I love to work with printable files!
I usually let the product inspire the project.
I like to print everything out, and then fussy cut all the ephemera.
These kits are so loaded that I end up with lots of pages and pieces.

This leads me to today's project.
I have created a fun Ephemera Folder using the A Walk in Nature Collection.

Here's the front of it:

I began by chosing two of the journal pages that displayed the theme of the collection.
This will help me remember which kit it is.
I made my folder base from kraft cardstock.
I distressed all the edges of the journal pages,
and adhered one to the front of the folder,
and one to the back of the folder.
I added a piece of seam binding for a tie closure.
Below is a photo of the back side.
Aren't the papers fabulous?

Here's the folder when it's opened.
Isn't that a lovely display of ephemera?
I added kraft cardstock pockets to my folder.
The pockets were decorated with more paper from the collection.
Then I filled them with journals cards, photos,
and all the fussy cut bits.

I had so much fun making this folder!
I think it will be a great way to keep everything together.
I think I might start making them for each printable kit I work with.
It would be fun to see them all lined up on my shelf!

 Hello Paper Artists

Here is my 2nd card using the Lavender with Mint digital paper collection
 - this one uses the Lavender papers

The other border from the same paper is used on this card & is centred on the front with lace overlapping it on the sides.  The bottom corner is embellished with paper roses, rosebuds & leaves with a lavender organza ribbon behind them.  The top corner has the same organza ribbon tied in a bow; a word art ticket is foam mounted & a small transparency butterfly added.  This card is also 6" sq.

Closeups

The inside of the card has the same lace across the centre; a die-cut tag from the lavender paper with lavender organza ribbon is tucked behind the lace.

Hello Paper Artists

I have been busy posting the Design Team Ladies' projects with this collection & getting the Christmas in Burgundy with Cream collection tied up that I almost forgot to post my own 2 cards & Mini Album.

The digital paper collection is called Lavender with Mint.

This is my first card using the Mint papers.

The front of the card uses a border from 1 of the Mint papers. A die-cut & then a piece of lace is tucked under the border.  A die-cut tag from the same green cardstock has been made & it is embellished with paper roses, leaves, a ribbon & pearls.  A transparency butterfly & a foam mounted word tag are the final touches.

The inside of the card has a piece of the border cut to make a tuck spot.  A tag with a die-cut, pearl & ribbon is tucked in.

A simple card measuring 6" sq could be used for a variety of occasions

A Lavender Card

Hello, everyone!

It's Nancy back with a new project share!

I have created a card using the beautiful new Lavender with Mint Collection.

One of my favorite colour combinations is purple with green,
and this collection is just that...and more!

For my first card, I have focused on the purple,
and made a tri-fold card.

Here it is folded flat:

This is what it looks like standing up:

I cut the base from purple cardstock,
then I printed two of the Lavender with Mint Papers, and cut the card panels out.

Each panel is decorated with fussy cut images from the Collection.
The "Les Fleurs" on the front cover is from the Summer Garden Cut and Create.

Although I've made mine as a card,
I think this would make a great journal insert.
With that in mind, I added a belly band to the back panel,
and tucked in the tag from the collection.

The cut file includes an envelope.
I cut it out of purple cardstock, and added this beautiful journal card to the front of it.
I added a fussy cut flower to the back for a flap tuck.

It makes such a pretty set!

Mint Beautiful Thoughts Card

Hello, everyone!

It's Nancy back with you today.
I have created another card using the new Lavender with Mint Collection.

As I said last time, one of my favorite colour combinations is purple with green,
and this collection is just that...and more!

Last time I focused on the "Lavender" and this time I'm focusing on the "Mint"!

 Here's my card layed flat:

Here it is standing up:

The elements of this collection are ideal for an easel card.
The base is made from green cardstock,
and the layers were cut from one of the Lavender with Mint Papers.

I fussy cut the flowers, butterfly, and ticket sentiment,
from the collection.
I inked all the edges before assembling everything.

To finish it all off, I added a pretty double-looped bow and some pearls.
Although it doesn't show in the photos,
I went over everything with my sparkle marker,
so it has a really lovely sparkle!

Tag No. 2

 Hello everyone & welcome!

Leanne here with you today and I have a pretty tag I would love to share.

I have created my tag with digital patterned papers from Meg's Garden Papercraft Etsy Store.
The papers are from the Lavender & Mint Collection.
These are very pretty papers and would be ideal for any paper crafter.

Simply make:
My tag measures 9.5 x 17cm and is constructed from green cardstock. I have distressed the edges with a paper distressing tool, then inked the edges with distress ink: old paper.
Trim digital patterned paper to 8.5 x 15.5cm, distress, ink then adhere to green tag base.

Next fussy cut ephemera pieces, ink then fix in place as shown.

Add lace, ribbon and self-adhesive pearls to finish.

Until next time.
Thank you so much for stopping by.
I hope you have a wonderful day & happy creating.

Tag Your It...

  Hello everyone & welcome!

Leanne here with you today & I have a Large Tag I would love to share.

I have created my tag with these stunning digital patterned papers called Lavender & Mint. They are available to purchase from Meg's Garden Papercraft Etsy Store.

I love to create tags in different sizes. They are wonderful to add to gifts, as home décor, to use as a decoration and to hang on a door knob.

Simply make:

My large chipboard tag measures,14 x 21cm.
Trim digital patterned paper to 14 x 21cm, trim to fit tag shape, paper distress the edges, then ink edges with distress ink milled lavender before adhering to chipboard.
Add lace trims along bottom edge of tag as shown.

Fussy cut & die cut ephemera pieces from the cut & create sheets, ink the edges then arrange pieces before fixing in place.
The wording has been adhered with 3D foam tape.

To finish add cheese cloth, paper roses, self-adhesive pearls, and some lace to hang your tag.

Until next time.
Thank you so much for stopping by,
I hope you have a wonderful day & happy creating.

A Walk in Nature Cards

 Hello Paper Artists

Here are my other 2 cards

It is interesting to see that Trish used the same selected papers  - you can see 2 different versions of them - just a fluke.  The fronts of the cards use 1 of the papers in the Journal 10x7" collection.

The 1st card has the image fussy cut, inked around the edges & simply attached to the front of the card with a jute twine through the hole in the top of the image. The cardstock is khaki - 2 papers in my stash from forever ago.

Inside the card are 2 ephemera - one being used as a tuck spot.
Jute twine is knotted through a hole punched in the other

This is the other half of the Journal paper.

This one is fussy cut, mounted on ivory cardstock & then onto the khaki one.

The inside of the card is embellished with 2 of the Cut & Creates

Very simple cards which could be embellished further if you wish

Bye for now

The Collection is divided into 2 listings on Etsy - the 10 album papers 10x7" in one
