Heather has an affirmation for this Month of Love

Hello Bloggers

Hope you are enjoying the OUAS collaboration.

Heather is next up with her gorgeous layout.  You will be seeing so many different projects this month & Adriana has done a fabulous job in the scheduling so that each posting is different than those next to it. Thanks Adriana.

Heather is famous for her affirmations & this one is perfect for the month of love.  She explains:

'Hello there, Heather with you today showcasing our beautiful new Paper collection .
This month there is a delightful ‘twist’ as we are joining in with ‘Once Upon a sketch.’
A challenge site with sketches and is all about journaling the journey of life.

I am loving the softness and colours of this new range and thoroughly loved working with them .
This layout is based on a divine sketch created by Nadia Cannizzo, the founder of OUAS.
My page came together so quickly and is deceivingly very simple .'

MY PROCESS
I created the splashes of ink with Tim Holtz shabby shutters stain.
Layered over with the black Inked the Kaiser stamp
Cut the circle ( this can be done by tracing around a plate )
Mount the photo, add file labels around edge .
Place inked chipboard under top right corner of photo
Proceed by adding  a border of flower clusters/ rosette and hearts framing the photo .

I used the delightful Buds of May paper for the circle and the stacked hearts.
The diecut file labels, honeycomb shapes and leaves are created by using a combination of both A Summer's Day and Buds of May.
The two strips at the bottom of the page are random left over pieces .
These collections are perfect for mixing and matching .

I have always admired your unerring eye for combining old and new collections, adding a little detail here and touching up a little there. Everything comes together in the most delightful page ever! and Tara, she certainly knows how to capture with her camera! xoxo
