When Hever Gardens meet Meg's Garden....

Hello Bloggers

Sylvie's book belongs here because it is a work of Love.  It is based on a visit to Hever Castle & Gardens - the childhood home of Anne Boleyn.  It is a double moated castle built in the 13th Century & has 125acres of gardens - Kent, UK.  The Love of Anne Boleyn & King Henry VIII is legendary & appropriate for the month of Love.

Sylvie explains her book:

'It's a fabric mini album with pockets in which I slipped tags and photos.  The fabric was stamped, inked and embellished with the fabulous Meg's Garden papers... I cut patterns in different papers and I admit I was a bit scared to cut out these so beautiful papers...I even glued the paper flower patterns on my photos and I love the result...
I used for this creation:
French Garden Collection - Collage Cartouche, French Bouquet, Mini Paper Pack, Rose Collage, Le Belle Jardin.

and now i have a wonderful memories of my visit to Hever Gardens...

The book is so beautiful & what a fabulous way to remember a special trip to a special place - well done Sylvie.  Love all your fussy cutting & overlay of the papers on the photos - great when pics are tucked into a project - it makes them seem to belong.  The pockets are a great way to add some special tags, photos & souvenirs.

Bye for now
