Irit is here again and this time I am going to share my new Meg's Garden Printer's tray made with Gentlemen collection, but as totally non- masculine project.
I always try to maximize my craft supplies. Living in Israel makes the shopping and shipping kind of Mission Impossible and for this reason I try to buy the most versatile products to make the possibilities to use them wider.
So Meg's Garden Gentlemen collection was the one I would never buy. But then I 've got it and was amazed by the options and the hidden potential of those most gorgeous papers!
This Printer's tray was made with this collection- the strips only- and it's suitable for both genders and even looks a bit feminine with some butterflies and flowers arranged inside the tray.
I cut the strips and the single 12*12'' paper to fit the tray windows (lets say that I made it with no measure system; it was time consuming, but after all this is a big project that should be time consuming).
Each piece of paper was distressed and inked with a dark blue ink. In some windows I added extra tags and even covered then with Frames transparencies.I made some stamping with Vintage collage stamps, such as " Yesterday" or " Moment in time" sayings. Then I added a flow of transparent hand cut butterflies , some clocks and a hot air balloon. Almost 100% of embellishments can be found in Meg's Garden shop (see the list below).
blue, gold and black powders. I added 2 " found" pieces: one wooden button and one piece of old jewelry. I really like this vintage look of the tray and hope you like it too.
